Quarter sawn oak for cabinetry and interiors
Quarter sawn boards show tight, straight grain and resist movement. Rift sawn cuts are similar but with a slightly different grain angle. Both are ideal for cabinetry and architectural applications. For grain references, the Wood Database is a helpful resource.

Kiln load policy
We handle large kiln loads only (2000 bd/ft minimum). Lumber must air-dry under cover for a few months before kiln scheduling. Wet wood ties up the kiln longer, raises energy use, and increases checking, so it is accepted only at a premium when schedules allow.
